Max is a choreographer, filmmaker. After an illustrious career as a soloist at English National ballet (2004 –2016) he spent the years until the pandemic as an actor singer and dancer and touring the world with Matthew Bournes Swan Lake as lead Swan/Stranger and playing the title role in An American in Paris in the west end. Max has worked with some of the biggest names in dance and after the pandemic turned to film and television. He took courses at the National Film and Television school and started producing his own work as a choreographer and director. 

His highly visual style and huge talent and experience in all dance styles combined with his love of actors and story telling has led him to assistant choreograph on high end Netfix productions Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte with Jack Murphy. Max worked closely with friend and collaborator Drew McOnie on Greatest Days film, as well as many projects with Polly Bennet. His first experience of dance on film was on The Nutcracker and The Four Realms with Liam Scarlett.

Max qualified as a fighter from the Academy of Performance Combat and has worked on productions involving flying and wire work as well as stunt work. He has collaborated with stunt coordinators Lee Morrison (No Time to Die) producing and movement base for a crypto currency advert.

Max has a way of communicating a story through movement and is a skilled collaborator. He has worked with so many different creatives in different roles and has developed strong understanding of film making and storytelling. He can work with directors, stunt coordinators, choreographers, actors and dancers as well as creating his own work.
